Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how instasongdownload.com ("we," "our," or "the Service") handles information when you use our free Instagram media downloader tools. We built this service to work without requiring an account, login, or personal profile, and we've tried to keep our data footprint as small as possible.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we never ask for your Instagram username, password, or session cookies. We do not access, log in to, or interact with your personal Instagram account in any way. You are only ever submitting a public content link (a URL) that you have copied yourself.

2. Information We Process

When you paste an Instagram URL into our tool and click Download, that URL is sent to our backend server so it can be resolved into a direct media file. We do not permanently store the URLs you submit, the media files you download, or any personally identifiable information tied to your download requests. Requests are processed in memory and are not retained after your download completes.

3. Server Logs

Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers (including our web host and backend hosting provider) may automatically log standard technical data for security and reliability purposes, such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp of requests. These logs are used only for abuse prevention, debugging, and keeping the Service online, and are not used to build a profile of individual users.

4. Third-Party Services

To reliably resolve Instagram media links, our backend relies on third-party media-resolution APIs. When you request a download, the Instagram URL you provide is passed to these providers so they can return a direct file link. We select providers that state they do not require your Instagram login credentials and do not store the resolved files beyond what is needed to serve your request. We do not share any other personal data with these providers.

5. Cookies & Advertising

We may use cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality (such as remembering your dark/light theme preference) and, where enabled, to serve advertising through networks such as Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, and you can generally control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

This Service is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under regulations such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California) to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we may hold about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts or persistent logs of your download activity, there is generally very little personal data associated with your use of the Service. If you have questions or requests regarding your data, please reach out via our Contact page.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
